Jennifer Velyvis

Research Assistant

Jennifer is in her third year of a Bachelor of Psychological Science degree at UNSW, with a keen interest in child development and family-based interventions. She is passionate about understanding how parent-child interactions shape children’s emotional and behavioural outcomes, and how early intervention can promote positive developmental trajectories.

As a Research Assistant at the Parent-Child Research Centre, Jennifer contributes to projects involving Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), including DPICS coding, data entry, and the development of online resources for School-based and Interpreter-assisted PCIT. She is eager to continue expanding her research experience and plans to pursue Honours and postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology.
